CHK Consulting Group, LLC (CHK~CG) is a Human Resources Management Firm founded in 2010 by Cynthia Portis.  CHK~CG specializes in saving its clients' time and money by providing outsourced services with proven efficiencies. 

Our mission is to provide the business community ethically professional, personalized service in the field of Human Resources and Operational Management tailored to fit our clients' budget and growth.  We strive to serve as a Strategic Partner and extension of the client by enhancing operational effectiveness and ensuring company-wide compliance to governing laws and regulations.  Simultaneously, priding ourselves on effectively matching talent with opportunity, allowing for the maximization of productivity and the stimulation of overall economic growth.

Cynthia Portis has over 20 years of Management experience with a Bachelors of Science in Business - Operations Management. Additionally, she is Certified as a Professional Human Resources Manager (PHR), Society of Human Resources Management - Certified Professional  (SHRM-CP), EEO Investigator and Counselor.  Her bi-coastal professional experience has been within the Media, Private and Government Contracting sectors, specializing in Human Resources, Operation, Accounting 
and Client Relations Management.

Cynthia has been recognized as disciplined and focused team builder and leader, highly proficient at managing critical projects individually or within a team environment and ensuring deliverables are met. She has the proven ability to establish a clear and understandable vision for operational excellence, get buy-in from others on that vision and build the operational components to execute against that vision.

Additionally, Cynthia can be charged with successfully managing organizational effectiveness and program design, development training and implementation of web-based HR Delivery Models and HRIS systems. She is an autonomous strategic thinker, who posses’ superior interpersonal, leadership, project management and financial business acumen skills with a true ‘Passion for HR.’
